Edwards Public Library

30 East Street

Southampton, MA 01073

On June 29th at 6:30 p.m. the Edwards Public Library welcomes back Jungle Jim and his “Tails and Tales” Summer Reading Balloon Magic Show.

Jungle Jim has previously performed for the Edwards Public Library, most recently with his “Minecraft Madness” balloon magic program. The “Tails and Tales” program encourages and motivates children to create their own stories through reading and interactive experiences at their local library. Over 20 volunteers participate in entertaining and team building activities. Manning is an experienced library performer, having entertained at over 1000 libraries in thirteen different states.

“Tails and Tales” has received local funding from the Southampton Cultural Council. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Southampton Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.

“I love performing in Southampton,” says Manning. “The children are great and the parents are involved, which makes for a fun experience as a performer.” Children will be encouraged to check out books to help them develop their own storytelling skills.

Admission to virtual “Tails and Tales” is free, but REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. This performance is recommended for children ages 3-10. For more information, call the Edwards Public Library at (413) 527-9480. Details about the program are available at www.iLoveMyLibrary.com or at https://southamptonlibrary.org/
