Since it's Memorial Day weekend, please call ahead before heading to events.  There are many Memorial Day Parades happening in Franklin County, which I have listed in our newsletter this week.  Please e-mail me if there are any that I've missed.

It's Memorial Day...Let the Summer Begin!

Macaroni Celebrates

It's finally here!  It's the beginning of the summer season even though summer doesn't begin for several weeks. It looks like the weather will cooperate too!  When I was growing up, I knew it was Memorial Day because my best friend Edyce's father, Mr. Barie would start the day very early, mind you, by blaring The Battle Hymn of the Republic, Taps, the Marine Hymn and once in a while the Ballad of the Green Berets!  This was our cue to get our bikes and decorate ...

Make it kid friendly!

Does your kid LOVE to garden? Play in the dirt? How about learn new things? What about eating their veggies? Well if you said YES to at least one of those things, you might be looking at your next project and HOPEFULLY add "YES!" to eating their veggies!

Kids tend to be MUCH more interested in eating their veggies, or at least TRYING them, if they had a HAND in growing them, themselves!

Friday, May 24 - MotherWoman Support Group in Greenfield

Join MotherWoman for a free drop-in group for mothers of infants and babies up to one years old who are having a challenging postpartum time.  Expectant mothers welcome.  Free childcare for those with children up to four years old.

This group meets weekly (except during school vacation weeks).
